In need of a facial? Then look no further than my guide to the best treatments to invest your time and money in
Omorovicza at Liberty
Available at one of London’s most celebrated department stores, Liberty, award-winning skincare brand Omorovicza’s approach to skincare is simple – to capture the benefits of Hungarian thermal baths to transform skin. At the Omorovicza Treatment Rooms, you can choose from four facials, one tailored specifically to men. We opted for the Illuminating facial, a sumptuous treatment that deeply nourishes, brightens and revives. After 60 minutes, skin is left looking healthy, hydrated and smooth, with no need for a filter in your post-facial Instagram selfie – I’ve already booked in for my next treatment.

Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa
This tranquil space in the heart of bustling Covent Garden will instantly calm your mind as you walk through the door, and the soothing aromas will make you feel as if you’ve been transported to a Thai retreat. There’s a wide range of facilities, such as hair services, including a men’s barbershop, body and face treatments, and an express beauty bar for nails and more. We tested the 90-minute Tulasara customised facial, which really does deliver glowing skin without the redness that some facials can leave behind. Our therapist conducted a skin analysis and created a bespoke facial for our skin needs – the added massage was utterly divine, too.

Skin is deeply cleansed, buffed and toned, followed by a mini massage while your face is cocooned in a Sisley mask. The treatment is rounded off with a layer of Black Rose Precious Face oil, moisturiser and lip balm – my skin has never looked so good post-facial before.
